Spring is upon us and everything is starting to bloom! One of my favorite blooms both for my yard and for use in my beauty regime is the beautiful and versatile rose! Our grandmothers knew their stuff, incorporating rose products into their beauty regimes. These brilliant and wise woman where onto something and we should listen up.
I use rose a lot in my treatments at the studio, adding it into masks and mixing it up to use with my Galvanic Machine to push it into the skin (a galvanic machine is used to drive treatment gel deep into the skin through electric currents. A positive and negative charge is used to bind the gel to impurities in the skin and draw them back out to the surface. This galvanic current stimulates blood and oxygen to the surface of the skin). It’s amazing for hydrating and promoting a fabulous glow to your skin. Two of my favorites products are Rose Oil and Rose Toner (Water). A side note, they must be organic! I have found that rose products from Bulgaria are the best because they are known for harvesting the most beautiful roses in the world and you can find a lot of organically produced products.
