Micro-Needling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a skin-rejuvenating procedure that uses tiny needles (with the use of a dermaroller, a small hand held roller coated in tiny needles) to create hundreds of tiny, invisible punctures in the top layer of your skin. The goal is to improve the overall appearance and texture of the skin and it is minimally invasive. The "micro-injuries" made by the dermaroller stimulate your body’s own wound healing process, which in turn results in cell turnover and increased collagen and elastin production. These processes help reverse and prevent signs of aging.
